Update from the Trustees

Wednesday 01st July 2020

On behalf of the Trustees and staff of WWSC, I would like to express our thanks for the continued support you have shown the club over the past three months, whilst also navigating your own way through lockdown and this global pandemic.
We are pleased to announce that from 4th July, our bar will reopen enabling all members to meet once again at the club. Unfortunately, we do not feel we can open the kitchen just yet and therefore there will be no food service at the club for the foreseeable future.
We have also taken the decision to open the club on a reduced hours basis as follows:
Monday Closed
Tuesday Closed
Wednesday Closed
Thursday 5.00pm - 9.00pm
Friday 5.00pm - 11.00pm
Saturday 12.00pm – 9.00pm
Sunday 12.00pm - 6.00pm
We are following the strict guidelines issued by the government and we ask that you abide by these and adhere to what you will be asked to do when and if you do visit the club. In addition, we ask that you give the staff the respect they deserve as the changes in legislation on how we can provide the bar service will mean it may take longer to serve you.
Further information on how this will work will be published on the web site and on social media and the staff will guide you on the new procedures when you arrive. Please note we will only accept cards for payment and will have no cash facility for you to pay for drinks at the club.
We realise that not all areas of the club have been able to resume their services such as Squash and the Gym and we understand the frustrations this may cause. Barring any resurgence of coronavirus cases locally, we eagerly anticipate reopening further facilities in the very near future to welcome more members back to the club.

Yours in Sport
John Worton
Chairman of Trustees
